BELOW is the Sabian Symbol, written of by Dane Rhudyar...that is the FIRST degree of the wheel-the URGE to INDIVIDUATE.  Hey, feminists. THE SYMBOL OF THE URGE TO BE AN INDIVIDUAL is woman. Embraced by a SEAL.  Before man was created by the mating of the Goddess with a barking seal.  A seal of approval.  In this ever-dumbing world.....where people are suffering from such a lack of identity that they are grabbing at anything superficial and temporal to identify with INSTEAD of the only thing that is worthy, the MYSTERY that gave us an IMMORTAL BEING (I speak for those of us who have earned CONTINUING DEVELOPMENT by meeting each incarnation courageously)...

we need to focus on PHASE 1 as the motto of the world, along with "Hoka hey! Today is a good day to die."  The attitude is not morbid, but comes from wisdom...there is a hierarchy of meaning, and to look fear in the eye and laugh....THAT is the attitude that results in being someone others may considered "privileged" THERE IS NO PRIVILEGE HANDED TO ANYONE, AND WHAT PEOPLE GET WILL COME TO THEM. Laugh with death, not AT death....Laughing AT death is incredibly stupid.....REALLY not a good idea.  Laugh WITH death, that's the thing.  Like a mob boss, don't insult death....but if you can make him laugh, you're in.  "Hey, I like this guy! heh heh!"  Arrogance is a form of cowardice that the strong are prone to, when they think they are stronger than strong.

PHASE 1 (ARIES 1°): A WOMAN JUST RISEN FROM THE SEA. A SEAL IS EMBRACING HER.

KEYNOTE: Emergence of new forms and of the potentiality of consciousness.

This is the first of the 360 phases of a universal and multilevel cyclic process which aims at the actualization of a particular set of potentialities. These potentialities, in the Sabian symbols, refer to the development of man's individualized consciousness — the consciousness of being an individual person with a place and function (a "destiny") in the planetary organism of the Earth, and in a particular type of human society and culture.

To be individually conscious means to emerge out of the sea of generic and collective consciousness — which to the emerged mind appears to be unconsciousness. Such an emergence is the primary event. It is the result of some basic action: a leaving behind, an emerging from a womb or matrix, here symbolized by the sea.

Such an action is not to be considered a powerful, positive statement of individual being. In the beginning is the Act; but it is often an imperceptible, insecure act. The small tender germ out of the seed does not loudly proclaim its existence. It has to pierce through the crust of the soil still covered with the remains of the past. It is all potentiality and a minimum of actual presence.

In the symbol, therefore, the emergent entity is a Woman; symbolically speaking, a form of existence still close to the unconscious depths of generic biological nature, filled with the desire to be rather than self-assertion. The woman is seen embraced by a seal because the seal is a mammal which once had experienced a biological, evolutionary but relatively unconscious emergence, yet which retraced its steps and "returned to the womb" of the sea. The seal, therefore, represents a regressive step. It embraces the Woman who has emerged, because every emergent process at first is susceptible to failure. This process is indeed surrounded by the memory, the ghosts of past failures during previous cycles. The impulse upward is held back by regressive fear or insecurity; the issue of the conflict depends on the relative strength of the future-ward and the past-ward forces.

The possibility of success and that of failure is implied throughout the entire process of actualization. Every release of potentiality contains this two-fold possibility. It inevitably opens up two paths: one leads to "perfection" in consciousness, the other to "disintegration" - the return to the undifferentiated state (the state of humus, manure, cosmic dust - i.e. to the symbolic "great Waters of space," to chaos)

This symbol characterizes the first of five stages which are repeated at three levels. This stage represents the initial statement, or theme, of the five-fold series which refers to the first level: IMPULSE TO BE.

There is no privilege, what is taken by violence cannot be kept for long....perhaps a few generations.  Today is a good day to die! There is no privilege. We are rewarded for living with a courageous heart.  It may not seem like the kind of rewards a person would want, but "greatness"...is this-that one is regarded as living courageously, and leaves a suitable guide to future generations to learn from.

To live courageously, the MYSTERY finds a way to reward you....and you may have to endure envy.  What envy wants "reality" to be is that (and I am talking about "luck", looks, charisma, mojo, talent, giftedness, "IT" factor, circumstances) a person has more than others for WHATEVER "story" can demonstrate that what a person has that is "more" than what another has, is unearned.  Therefore, because the person has unearned privilege (I am talking about how people relate on an individual level, it is precisely the same dynamic as pointing at "them on the hill" as it is to be inconsiderate to a person that "has it better" a privilege.....brains, beauty, "talent", "luck", etc.

THERE IS NO PRIVILEGE.   We are rewarded by acts of courage.  We are punished for acts of cowardice.  I have pulled out of the collective karma and I officially decline to consent to any of it.  I am not one of the normalized masses cowards who can come up with anything to identify with, just as long as it is not a reincarnating SELF that is rewarded or punished depending on whether or not they had the heart to live courageously.  You don't have to be Alexander the Great (until he becomes a drunk with ennui) or be James Bon Scottfield Jovi.  You could ride into death like a badass knowing that you stood up for a child who was being abused, when everyone else looked the other way.....and held your ground when (you can tell a coward by this trait) THEY FLOCK TO THE ABUSER and declare YOU bad/insane/full of hate/blaming others...and also, most importantly...ignore the child's needs.  Otherwise, you were the manager at the Cineplex and had an unremarkable life.  The path to greatness further down the road starts there, and complaining, bitching, whining moaning about OTHER people results in ZERO time spent developing character.  An act of courage is NOT for attention, and is why General Custer died as he was thinking of his own glory and ascendance to the Presidency.  There is no privilege...and I am talking about as individuals, not abstracting from reality with groups that I did not consent to, or partake in when selecting WHAT qualities we are to separate people into their groups.  As individuals, a person is a result of courage or cowardice.  ENVY says "Santa Claus gave him more talent at Christmas and we are all equal, so therefore whoever makes me aware of my inferiority when I (not the person envied) compare our differences...therefore, that person is greedy, and did not share with the rest of the class....

Well, as much as I love to burst that bubble, there is no privilege...and if a person can do something very well and profit from it, the envious do not hesitate to override the FACT that they sacrificed a great deal of time and energy into the pursuit of their craft, rather than hiding their envy behind the banner of equality.

We are not created equal.  We are not equals.  There is a hierarchy of beings.  There are amongst us those who are the result of many lifetimes of bravery, as well as pain and failure.  There are those amongst us who have not been, regarding contintuity.  The ultimate price of cowardice, is being returned to the beginning of the ascent to a great soul, a noble spirit....at One and Many with the MYSTERY.

Those who have not the guts to do anything but complain about what others have that is more than what they have, they live in a society where NOBODY is barred from going to the library and developing a greater soul, even watch podcasts.  There is no excuse for refusing the call.   There is no privilege.

I only will tolerate those who are the result of bravery, all others are considered untrustworthy.
